Hello! I want to begin by saying that this podcast has been a joy to listen to. I’ve definitely found my people. I was disappointed in your disparagement of teachers in this episode. The comment was a one off, but I would ask that you please consider a re-edit to remove it. In case you aren’t sure what I mean, you were talking about difficulty with tests. Tests are indeed problematic. However, saying that teachers are not intelligent was unfair and dismissive. You advocate for acceptance, and as an educator I was hurt by your statement. As we work toward a world where everyone will be accepted for who they are, we won’t get there by belittling others.

Thank you for this episode! As a listener since the beginning, I love the expansions into featured guests. Soon after listening, I stumbled upon this video from Youtuber Tom Scott (clearly an autistic club member in my book) about an insanely intricate, immersive submarine simulator built by two guys in Italy. They built a theme park-like room connected to a track system (sort of resembling a 3D printer) over a pond so you can remotely pilot a small camera underwater. It's complete with a narrative experience including computer voiceover and a CGI intro sequence showing your sub being miniaturized. The autistic joy and passion from everyone (including me watching) was just off the charts. https://youtu.be/tMlHDnbEIDA?si=VAg1alKJD9fOfi5S
