Your scientific and cultural analysis has helped me understand myself better especially with interoception difficulties, further highlighted why Temple Grandin is not a good role model for autistic culture through the algebra example, and provided a new framework to view life and people through.
I especially want to thank you for your latest episode which exemplifies why your work is so necessary as autistic people are indeed unfairly maligned. Considering that point, I request that you cover Courtney Love in a future episode as her story is crying out for an autistic analysis with examples of said malignment in her life including The Guardian calling her childish, writer Emily St. James dismissing her by saying that originality is overrated after she demanded that Olivia Rodrigo give her credit where it was due not to mention the countless songs attacking her. By the way, if a Patti Smith episode ever happens, that would be cool as there is an autistic cultural connection through her being one of Courtney Love's biggest influences.
Music is my main special interest so I request more episodes on autistic musicians or even a special episode similar to the animation one. I especially want to see Bjork covered at some point as she suspects she's autistic and I've been looking for an opportunity to explore her work but don't know where to start. Regardless of whether you take my ideas or not, your latest episode gives me full confidence in your ability to do justice to any topic you choose.

Bjork isn't on the list for me yet but I will consider it. She feels harder to research. I spend 10-20 hours per episode researching and synthesizing so a lot of times what makes a good subject is someone where I can get the actual research. But since music is one of my special interests those are my go to episodes while Matt is off doing Games and Movies!!!
I am mid research on a Taylor Swift episode and a Moana episode. We'll see if I get enough goodies for those!!! Thanks for writing in and listening. It means everything to Matt and I.
I have called the crisis line many times and have found it to be very helpful - but I'm a veteran so I get a different group of people to talk with. I also make it a point to let them know that I am autistic at the beginning of the conversation. Perhaps that makes the difference in the level of help I receive..
