Matt had this idea to wrap up this book by providing you a handy guide to speaking the Language of Autistica! One of the tricky parts about being Autistic in a neurotypical world is that we have a lot of common experiences, but because we don’t have words for them, we don’t understand how common the experiences are. It’s our hope that you’re able to read this, familiarize yourself with all of these words and phrases, and are therefore able to more easily identify your Autistic traits and the Autistic traits in others! Plus, we couldn’t have a book written by Autistics FOR Autistics without including one long multi-page list.
