Listen now (52 min) | Charles Schulz’ Charlie Brown character might be the first Autistic person we ever met and Snoopy? Well, let’s just say he’s not from our culture but we love him anyway!
Thanks for the show, hubby and I (both self-diagnosed) watch “A Charlie Brown Christmas” faithfully every year. In addition to dialogue that doesn’t talk down to kids, the Vince Guaraldi music stands alone as an excellent jazz Christmas album. It’s appropriate and beautiful but not “kid music”. (I recognized your reference to it at the beginning of the podcast 😉.)
If Matt happens to have some sources for the estimate of 20% people being autistic I'd love to see those! I have been thinking it's around that number too. Loving this podcast!
I really loved this episode.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
